Parenting is communal.

There’s nothing like becoming a mom in the middle of a pandemic to make you realize how essential a village is.

I come to this work with a BA and MA in Child and Adolescent Development (Mills), along with certifications as a Postpartum Doula (Natural Resources) and Parenting Coach (Jai Institute). I spent my early years as an infant/toddler teacher before moving on to working in ECE public policy at First 5 SF, Child Life at UCSF, fundraising at the Homeless Prenatal Program, and a solid stint at a couple of early edtech and community-centered start-ups.

I’ve learned that what families need most is to share, listen, talk, play, exchange, banter, bicker, explore, try, fail, open up, be seen, be vulnerable, be creative.

Your Outer Village is the people, places, goods, and services that allow you to thrive throughout your parenthood journey.

Treat this space like your neighborhood living room. Drop-in unannounced, with your toddler in-tow. Grab a cup of tea and stay a while.

Whether you’re just offloading clothes or are ready to deep-dive into some coaching, I hope you’ll find just what you need.

xoxo
