New moms and their babies during a New Moms Group at Outer Village.

What to expect

New Moms Group

Becoming a mother is a beautiful, disorienting, life-altering experience, and most of us are doing it without the built-in village we truly need.

This weekly new moms group is a warm, supportive space to share, reflect, and connect.

Led by a local SF mom and a former mental health founder, the group centers on real talk, shared wisdom, and the power of being witnessed by others who truly get it.

Each weekly 75-min session includes:

  • Facilitated themes & topics grounded in the early parenthood experience

  • Dedicated time for personal check-ins

  • Guided group conversation and reflection

Throughout our weeks together we’ll explore the emotional, practical, and relational realities of early motherhood. From sleep to identity to partnership, nothing is off the table.

Between sessions, you’ll stay connected through a dedicated WhatsApp group that often becomes a thread of support long after the group ends.

The Outer Village space is baby-friendly and family-centered. Feed, change, cry, nap, or just be. Come with your newborn or come solo, show up in the way that feels most supportive to you. We can’t wait to welcome you into our circle <3
